Just relating the information as it was related to me. I’m not about to try and track him down myself to get “the real story” if there even is one.
im guessing life stuff happened and he quit art for a while
it’s not that he stopped doing ponies; if he decided to stop, I’d be fine with it. I’m concerned over the fact that we haven’t heard A THING from in months.
I’d understand if an artist lowers their pony art efforts considerably. Many did it, starting from the most prolific ever (John Joseco), but quitting completely? After so many amazing pictures?
No matter how you put it, it still sounds odd to me.
As was related to me, he just got tired of doing ponies and moved on. He didn’t make a big deal out of it because he didn’t want a big deal being made out of it by anyone else, which I can certainly respect given how some parts of our fandom can be sometimes. I believe he’s doing art for Monster High and/or Ever After High these days, though so far I haven’t found any of his newer work. He seems to only post on 4chan anymore, and it’s been years since I bothered looking there for anything.
Another one that was doing practically one picture per day, and then suddenly disappeared…

But on the other hand, now I have the-butch-x to watch who is also incredibly awesome in his/her own way at this stuff. Case in point, this Vinyl pic. :D
