Unfortunately we thought the desync would’ve only affected somewhat recent images, so only refreshed the last few days of uploads. Obviously that wasn’t the case, so we’re going to go through the whole database, which may take some time as to not bog down the servers.
Take the tag “ant” (a fairly obscure one), it tells me that there 16 results, but when I view its contents, it brings the number of results back to 13.
Nope, the images are still missing under the artist tag.
However, the images are still there if you go to them directly, it’s just that they aren’t listed under any of the tags.
Ah, yes, I was going to pointing that out.

One of the servers died and caused a data desync issue. Everything is still there and slowly coming back, but it may take some time.
