What does the Princess Molestia tumblr have to do with rape? I’ve seen every single image on that blog and none of them directly imply to me actual rape. Every individual comic only implies consensual activities to some degree or another its only some fans of the comic that seem to think that actual rape is occurring. I certainty wouldn’t follow it if I felt it was.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic made its debut on October 10, 2010. If you were to read those statistics, you would notice that those are for the entire year of 2010. I would think it should have been clear that this was an issue that existed prior to the invention of Princess Molestia.
 
I sincerely hope that you don’t think that this is somehow inappropriate.

Molestia follows in the tradition of many Japanese anime in which sexuality and deviancy can be viewed in much the same way that we view slapstick in relation to violence.
 
Murder and accidents are not funny, in real life (some may find it so but I certainly don’t) and yet in many cartoons and black comedies these things are part of the humor. Scenes that involve murder, suicide, and sometimes even graphic depictions of violence can be used, subversively, for comedic effect.
 
Nobody is going to read of follow the princess molestia blog and suddenly become a rapist or something such as that. If they do, I’m almost 100 percent certain there was something deeply, deeply wrong with them before they ever encountered it.
 
Of course, I probably just went on a long dialogue with a troll; so whatever.

Trolling? I’m not trolling at all. You know, after my own personal experiences with this subject, I found it very difficult to talk about it at all. A couple years ago I would have never imagined I’d have the opportunity or inclination to discuss it openly. So thank you for that.

If I didn’t know any better, RIG, I would think you might be upset about something, but that can’t be right. Why would one of the many fans of molestation and sexual abuse get upset about someone talking about it?
