Well, I’d say pretty great.
But I’m already gay, so my test has to be thrown out by virtue of preexisting bias.
|| ||
I would run some tests but I’d rather not risk the suspension.
Or maybe just most of them.
… a lot of them okay? jeez
ya get the point
Alright, let’s dissect this a bit then; this time just from my own personal perspective as opposed to the, admittedly, incorrect assumption that the reference came from the source I had previously believed it to.
I’ve heard from every reader who ever read the darn thing, Of Mice and Men, that it is an ageless masterpiece. Even though I haven’t read it, I will still attest that a jillion avid readers can’t be wrong. The work is hailed by nearly all as far as literature is concerned.
But that’s not where I first heard the reference.
I was about 7-years-old and I happened to watch the Looney Toons. Hugo walked up, picked up our protagonist, squeezed him super tight, and said the line.
Man, did I do some extracurricular Google-digging this morning, just to look up what was being told to me.
…
And I still don’t care.
Looney Toons, yo. I will, and no one can stop me, call him George.
Literally the first Google search result for “The Abominable Snow Rabbit” tells you that bit’s an Of Mice and Men (novella: 1937, movie: 1939) reference.
Now, I’ve neither read nor seen Of Mice and Men, so ’til very recently I shared your misconception, but dude. You obviously already know the name, and presumably know how search engines work.
A little bit of fact-checking goes a long way, you know. :P
The Abominable Snow Rabbit.
Pretty sure it was Looney Tunes, yo. Made sometime around the 1960s, featuring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Hugo; all voiced by Mel Blanc.
No.
I can’t.
I can’t.
I don’t think I can control myself, I can’t stop it, it’s taking over, oh my god, somebody help me, it’s coming out, I can’t help myself-
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
FUCK, THAT’S CUTE.
>thinking that’s a reference to loony tunes
you poor, deluded soul.
Looney Toons.
Not funny.
Blaspheme.
I got the reference. It jsut wasn’t that funy.
You know that you understood the reference and I will be supremely disappointed in you if you did not.
But his name in Macintosh…
Maybe just, bi curious? >>591237
you’re allowed to be gay for big macintosh and braeburn without actually being gay. anyone else and you might have something to think about.
