Hopefully Rainbow Rocks will be better as Equestria Girls was a story-line disaster. Flash might still be hated if he makes a cameo but I guess that’s unavoidable at this point. That’s what we’ll have to wait and see.
From the looks of book prequel and movie clips, people aren’t convinced about the new movie so expect a lot of hate when it comes out. Hopefully the fandom won’t burst.
Alright… So it seems that Hasbro taking elements from certain Disney movies and Stereotypical High School anime does not help make a movie about freaking equines as humans. At least now it seems like they’re putting more effort into Rainbow Rocks. but even if that becomes successful, Brad may make a cameo and “ruin” the entire movie for anyone who hated him.
Because right now his development that we know off makes him “Kind” and “Handsome.”
Most of Flash haters are Flashlight haters because they don’t want this ship to be addressed in the main show at all.
To make Flashlight work, it means he needs to become more nerdy (exact copy of Shining Armor) or he needs to be shown as extremely smart to match Twilight’s intellect (Checklists for checklists etc.)
Now imagine him being: “Kind”, “Handsome”, “Smart” With this you get: Cliche, perfect prince boyfriend aka Disney movie.
MLP was created to break those damned stereotypes that are used almost everywhere and this is what makes the show unique. People don’t want ‘perfect dude’ in it because the overall quality would worsen.
When L. Faust developed the show, Celestia wasn’t even named a Princess but a Queen. It was Hasbro who wanted cliche (they wanted to make her pink).

Probably won’t do anything with him if that transfer of power thing in the last episode is permanent. If Twilight turns into a Celestia Look alike, she’ll stay single.
I just can’t imagine a stallion trying to uhh… umm, “go at it” with a mare like Celestia. It’s like a male Chihuahua trying to go at it with a Great Dane female.

Seriously.. Why is Flash hated for no reason? He’s done nothing relevant to his EG human counterpart!
It does in fanfics :) Hopefully with all that hate, Hasbro will get the message and does something with him. From the looks of EQG2 book it doesn’t look good at all…
We can hope all we want, but it won’t come true.
