That means Starlight’s from the future? I can see it now she started out as Twilight’s biggest fan so she traveled back in time to meet her but traveled to an alternate timeline where twilight died and in the museum dedicated to Twilight she learned that she was destined to become Twilight’s most bitter enemy. To the point where she vibrates her hoof through Flash Sentry’s head to kill him for refusing to marry her instead of Twilight. Leading up to Twilight snapping her neck to prevent her from doing the same to her second fiance.
Oh wow, I never noticed that!
I feel a bit alone saying this, and I hate to complain, but I honestly liked Starlight Glimmer in the first 2-parter of S5 she appeared in, more then the finale. It was kinda nice seeing a more “normal pony/person” as a villain for a change of pace, but then she became a bit too O.P., and a tiny bit of a “villain-sue” at times in the finale.
I mean, I don’t hate her, and I enjoyed the finale, I just feel it & her are a bit flawed is all. (And you can only fit so much story into 2 episodes, so I’m not bashing the writers or anything.) I kinda liked the alternate timelines, and the ending song, which were the strongest parts of the S5 finale.
And honestly I saw her “tragic childhood backstory,” and reformation coming a mile away.

Well, judging from the finale she is reformed now. Which honestly, I kinda saw coming. Still, while I don’t mind it, it seemed a bit abrupt how quickly she goes from practically “revenge-crazed to the point of not caring if she endangers the whole world” to “suddenly becoming nice.” Seriously, at that point, she seemed to be one of the most dangerous characters we’ve had in the show, considering she didn’t care if Equestria became a wasteland just so she could spite Twilight. So I don’t know what to think of her “heel-face-turn” really.
Part of me feels she probably deserves friends, and a second-chance, but another part of me feels she got off a li’l to easy, considering how psycho/spiteful she was.
Shame.

I kinda doubt it’d happen, but it’d be kinda funny, I think.

Well Tirek wasn’t exactly redeemed, more like, he was sent back to fucking prison.
And Sombra…yeah, less said about him, the better…
I’d be all for her going to prison, since it’d be an actual punishment.
Obviously they’re gonna kill her in a pretty gruesome manner. :P
JK, maybe she’ll just run away again. Or they’ll send her to Tartarus. Or a penitentiary.
Because a totalitarian dictator and ideological zealot like her is totally redeemable…ugh.
It’s MLP, man. There’s no way they won’t do it.
I hope they don’t pull a heel face turn on her! I’d love it if she stayed evil.
All I know is that it’ll be contrived as all hell.
