If that’s so, I hope it gets reinstated here at some point, always like more lewds and all. Shame about the mix up though, it is good art in either case.
@CMC Scootaloo
Does one need a reason to post information? As far as I’m concerned, it’s just giving some info/context. No need to read into it any more than that.
Then how does it matter? Why do you go around and “clarify” that this picture used to be a NSFW picture once if you aren’t intending to make a statement about this picture? That way, you seem like you try justifying the decision by EQD to take it down even though it’s a completely safe picture.
It’s removed from this site, but still exists elsewhere. Same YCH, but with NSFW options as in showing genitals, uploaded by the artist. Even if the final or advertised is SFW, this YCH was intended as NSFW at some point.
I never said anything about this image, only the intent.
Just because a ponies legs are spread, doesn’t mean it’s NSFW. There is such a thing as being suggestive and lewd while being cute, not just full on NSFW.
Eh? I’m not saying this image is NSFW, tags clearly show that and I don’t disagree. I was simply talking about the YCH for this image and how people say it was only SFW, yet I have only seen the NSFW version of the YCH. So I can only verify what I have seen.
I do not disagree with what you are saying about this picture, however.
People don’t claim anything of that sort. What people claim is that this particular picture is SFW. Which it is. If people say this version is still NSFW just because of some playfully spread legs then it’s just because they’ve seen too much porn and now can’t stop seeing porn everywhere, which is on them but not anyone else’s problem. And I can personally attest that looking at too much porn in a short timeframe can make you see lewd things where there aren’t any.
@EmbersLament
I don’t disagree, I cannot say if there was ever a finished version that is NSFW, I can only say what I have found.
All I have found is that there was a YCH posted by this artist that was NSFW, and I decided to say since I have read so much confusion over this image. Either way, I am not saying anything about how the finished image was made.
@Background Pony #1096
All I know is the auction I won was not NSFW, and there is no NSFW edit of this image. If the original was intended to be explicit, that’s fine. This is the finished product, and it is indeed safe.
@EmbersLament
Did you look at the post I linked? If you check a certain “ponyarchive” you can find the original YCH, which is very explicitly NSFW.
The post ID I linked before is the same. If you even check the public API data on that image, the uploader id is the same as this artist, so I doubt that it is a fake or edited image.
@Background Pony #1096
An NSFW version of this art never existed, even on the YCH site where I bought it. The description of the YCH clearly stated “no NSFW”.
I don’t understand people claiming this wasn’t intended to be nsfw… The original YCH here for this was very much nsfw and even uploaded by the artist themselves…
@The Frowning Pony
I really can’t take you serious when you have Flurry Heart as your avatar xD try to get an angry Flurry Heart, maybe that would improve it… Or make it even more adorable…
Funny how this innocent image caused so much controversy.
Then again, Facebook is a proven cesspit of wacko sjw types who are offended by everything under the sun. Seriously man.
@cloudkicker108
Ah, and I was about to add in my two cents too. …Which was basically that I have no real opinion on the site, except for the fanfiction side, and that’s mostly old hearsay.

While I’m well aware of your fascination with following me around and of using every opportunity to rile up against me due to me being a very outspoken and vocal supporter of Toxic-Mario, I’m afraid I have to disappoint you with that one, Saturn.
Supporting Toxic-Mario (despite all the evidence against him) was honestly one of your lesser exploits on Equestria Daily. I still remember you harassing anyone who showed even the slightest interest in Equestria Girls.
The bar for what constitutes as “Harassing Sethisto” is a rather low one today, so low, that criticizing the way he runs EQD these days is already meeting the criteria for that and almost guaranteed to end in a ban.
People criticize Seth all the time on EQD. Heck, almost everyone who commented on the article in which he apologized for using this image as a header expressed disappointment over him bowing down to pressure and his decision.
Talking about EQD’s reaction on this picture was related to it, so still on-topic, but I see your point about generally talking about EQD and its bad reputation these days, so I’ll leave it at the addendum for completion above.
Considering Equestria Daily is still the largest and most popular fan-run MLP news site on the internet, I’m pretty sure its positives far outshine whatever bad reputation it might have. I mean, the site even made it into the Library of Congress.
@CMC Scootaloo
And still EQD is running without any kind of problems and the only one whining about it are the ones that seem to be breaking rules all the time and thus have been banned…
I’ve been checking the site almost daily and this hiccup was the first in a while that had any kind of backlash.
EQD ain’t a drama site, check horse news for that.
Me personally, I don’t really see any problems with the picture but I do see why people said it’s saucy, seeing as it’s suggestive here
If you want to have a 20+ comment discussion about EqD, try using the forums or an image actually about EqD instead of filling up the comments with this pointless bickering.
If that’s so, I hope it gets reinstated here at some point, always like more lewds and all. Shame about the mix up though, it is good art in either case.

Ok, let me put this debate to rest… Here’s the original YCH https://ych.commishes.com/auction/show/218T/at-the-vineyard-safe/

(Although its deleted now, but I can prove it.)
Good. And what should his non-modding account be?
This is the closest I could find:
That would be better for CMC’s avatarI’m thinking more like a grumpy one. I think there was one in “To Where and Back Again” part 2Should he make this his profile picture?
Most, if not all, of the people who took offense to that header and complained to Seth about it were from Facebook.
It was Equestria Daily that caused the controversy, not Facebook.

My thoughts exactly.
EDIT:
@The Frowning Pony
Sorry, didn’t see your comment before I posted mine. This will be my last comment about EQD here.
