Fluttercord is more of a Beauty & Beast while Bulkshy is more like Esmeralda and Quasimodo. Beast and Discord were not really shy introverts
They mean beast as in “Beauty and the Beast” the Disney movie. Discord in particular fits that to a tee, but more generally it just means pairing some huge, aloof dude with a shy girl since there’s both synergy and contrast.
Discord, “hulking”? Also,
SnowflakeBulk Biceps and Big McIntosh have hardly acted like “beasts” around her, nor have they been in a position where they needed to; that’s Rainbow Dash’s territory.In their defense, they never did it with Mac, and parts of the fandom were guilty of it from the start.
And, she does like beasts.
How after the advent of Filters peopel still come to these pics to complain is beyond me.
Big Macintosh just felt like a good match for Fluttershy: strong enough to support her, gentle enough not to hurt her.
