They need to preview episodes to a small group of bronies and have them point out all the animation errors before the episode goes live.

It happened in season 4 with some characters having double ears.

I honestly think that’s a given thing at this point with season openers. They are the first episodes out so they might not have been given all the ironing out they need. That or it’s just a small glitch that pops up.
