Maybe one day we’ll get some goodbye comic or image from the creator of flufflepuff, not likely but possible if he ever gets nostalgic for the early days.

I love how the context turned an evil laugh into a dork laugh.
Not the first time ssomething like this happened. A few years ago he stopped due to the Fluffy Pony stuff people made after seeing his stuff (among other things).

Wish he had given it even a token conclusion though, rather than just a wall of text saying its done.
Hopefully is ersatz flufflepuff and chrysalis thing will actual happen. Janimations did something similar, but when he stopped doing mlp stuff his channel died before he could release a single video, which is a big shame.
He made a LOT of people happy with what he made over the years, regardless of the sometimes toxic community he had to deal with. I hope he at least takes comfort in that.
I thought it was more about wanting to expand to a new art style and not be weighed down by copying the show’s.
That is a real shame. I never expected Mike to do anything but have fun with what he was doing. If he’s not having fun anymore, I guess it’s time to stop. We did get six good years of stuff, though, and we should be thankful for that.
A goddamn shame.
