Human Twilight apparently extracted the memories of Pony Twilight in order to make that map of Equestria.
 
That laser gun she’s holding was probably designed specifically to take down Celestia. I don’t think Twilight, even an evil, sadistic psychopath Twilight with a sick disrespect for sapient life, would be so hideously unprepared as to not factor in (and counter) Celestia’s power. :D Having a laser gun attached to your forehead does not automatically make you invincible against a handheld laser gun.

also she really isn’t creating anything new. they already have concepts of magic devices after all.

Scene 2:  
Pony!Eq TS was bested by Human!Eq TS’s combat ability, was captured and was experimented upon.
 
Scene 3:  
Human!Eq TS plans her grand strategy, just like Sousuke Aizen or Lelouch Lamperouge.

Human!Eq TS’s direct approach to bypass the limits of magic and science, and to overthrow the (daytime) ruler of Pony!Equestria.
