I hope that moment when they finally do get their cutie marks is a really emotional, special moment.
 
I love how this show really touches my heart. I just hope that episode is a really great one.

Scootaloo really should be first to get hers, unless it’s simultaneous. First, as you pointed out, she nearly got there already. She knows her talent isn’t the same as other pegasi. She even knows she has a talent for her special talent, just not that it’s her special talent yet. Second, I’m sure there’s an official trope name for this, but as a handicapped foal, there’s a narrative (and marketing) reason for her to shine in other ways. And it’s not a new or PC trope either. Blind seers go back to ancient times, and who were Treasure Island’s top badasses? An amputee and a blind man. It just works. Third, and I really hope I’m right about this, she’s basically the Rainbow Dash of her generation, so what could be more appropriate for her than to be the catalyst for her friends to get their cutie marks the way Rainbow Dash caused the rest of the Mane Six to get theirs? That she’d be delighted at the parallel herself is just bonus.

don’t know who that is. But I seriously hope that the cmc are goining to get their cutie marks in season five. Because it is about time. And to be honest, Scootaloo got pretty close in season four. And Sweetie Bell is even learning magic by now. So season five would bring the perfect opportunity to get them onto the next page.
