Thays why I said legally. Cause her biological age matches her time spent in the human world, it doesn’t match the time passed in equestria. It’s glanced over, but there was a time difference between the two dimensions until recently. It’s basically Narnia mechanics except not nearly as severe.
 
In that sense, if they were siblings, sunset would be the younger sis. At least physically.

Unless starlight and sunburst are in their older 20s or 30s, that doesn’t seem likely. Sure, they are definitely older then the mane 6, but sunset’s legally 7 years older in equestria at least.
 
Enough so that while 2 or 3 years passed for sunset, twilight got her cutie mark all the way up to the premier of the series.
