Viva Reverie is making progress on his animation of the Brony Polka! He says he’ll be able to finish it sometime this year (2018). Here’s a comparison of the original’s thumbnail to the recreation.

AnimatedJames had nothing to do with Viva Reverie’s animation of James’ song. The song already existed on the internet. Viva Reverie downloaded the song and created an animation/visuals for it. James never did or said anything about it, nor is it even known if he saw it.
True, that’s kinda the conclusion I came to myself.
He’ll be missed.
I hope I never move on…or rather I should say, I hope I never get bored or tired of the fandom
I’m not gonna say it changed my life, but it surely did help me see the world in a more positive way than my usual nihilistic self.
For years to come, I hope I can contribute more to the fandom, just like good old AnimatedJames, RIP
Edited
Use it as a final send off, maybe he wanted to pay tribute to the show that he enjoyed and laughed at
lol to think a simple name change on a couple of sites could make a person ghost on the internet as if it was incognito.
But one more thing still perplexes me, if he is fully gone forever (at least in the fandom and hard to find on the internet)
Then why come back at all to give a collab in this last nostalgia bomb…and then ghost again?
I could probably answer my own question, true, but I hope ya get what I mean.
It was the end of MLP, of course, he would contribute, but to leave again…I mean why come back at all.
hmmmm
I think “successfully left the fandom” means you won’t find him anywhere on the internet by a name he was previously known by, in this case. If he does still use the internet (and who wouldn’t, in modern times?), then he probably can’t be found using any name we would know him by. That for sure includes the nickname “AnimatedJames”, but also presumably his real name that was known publicly. He probably goes by an unknown alias now when doing online things, and stays very private with his real name whenever he needs to use it for something.
I already know that, but just because he left the Brony Fandom doesn’t mean he left the Internet, I just wanted to figure out where he is today…like, how should I put this…like if he’s on twitter, or some website working on his projects and whatnot.
He’s completely and resolutely left the fandom. If you go to his YouTube channel (now called “Discontinued Channel”), you’ll find his last video probably explains things as best as you’ll ever hear from him.

Sorry to say, but I doubt he’ll see this.

Who are you talking to?
