I wonder why no one’s done anything with this. I was thinking that the scene where Cup Cake brings a cake could be reimagined as her preparing to express her love, but then she finds Pear Butter with Bright Mac and acts casual.
Obviously things worked out in the end with Carrot Cake, but it would have been a bit hard immediately after realizing her love was with somepony else.
