Like the Guy beneath me mentioned, it’s an ongoing fic on /map/ on 4chan about Applejack being ascended to an alicorn to fight the incompetence plaguing, IE all the dumb stuff from the show they make fun of. It’s a continued storyline over nearly 3 years and about halfway through the series Sunset Shimmer came back through the portal, and to help AJ grow as a princes Celestia made Sunset her student.
No major spoilers, but uh… it didn’t go well.
Princess Applejack is a fanfic that Sunset has been involved in.
A) Because Apple/Shimmer is clearly a superior ship
B) Is a princess missing her Queen
