In all honesty, I tried diagraming your sentence but still wasn’t sure. [characters (\the \you’ve (\mind \in your)) | fabricated (\between (\link (\the)) \you’ve (\mind \in your))] didn’t seem less valid than [link (\there is \supposed(\assumed (\I’ve))) | between | fabricated (\characters (\the)) \you’ve (\mind \in your))], and I’m not even sure if that’s right because I haven’t made out with English like that for almost 4 decades.
 
But now that I know it was the later, then yes - I agree with you.
 
I think the real problem is that people have started using Nyx as a verb. At that point it all gets “Tag it Nyx because that’s what they did” when Nyx is not a verb, and I don’t know that we have a tag for “I think she looks better black.” Even tagging the image as “OC:Nyx” seems … goofy … to me, because that’s not Nyx. That’s just Catrina with darker fur and skin tone.

Heck, to go along with Smiling Pony’s line of thought I’m going through some of that right now with Star Wars. With Rogue One very likely making all of Kyle Katarn’s character and adventures guaranteed as non-canon, it hurts. But I can’t go around getting all mad about it to everybody. I still enjoy all the games and stories he’s been featured in, and will continue to do so.

It’s in the queue, but I can’t give you any kind of estimate for when it will be done. I can say that it is now a list of things for someone do, and there’s a good number of people looking at that list, but it may wait until there’s a bunch of them before someone does them all in one shot.

One thing I will admit is, despite being a controversial & somewhat-hated fan OC, Nyx is kinda cute. I like glasses ponies.

My honest recommendation is you get on an IRC network or find a Skype / Discord group chat. Being able to just talk about stuff in real time with other people is helpful.
