For those who don’t know:  
Asterix and Obelix are two characters from a french comic. They’re Gauls. Their friend, the druid Panoramix (Getafix for the english-speakers) created a potion that gives superhuman strength and endurance. Problem is, Obelix fell into a cauldron of potion when he was just a toddler… and emptied it. Now he’s permanently superstrong, but the potion has NO effect on him in small doses, and in big doses it’s actually devastating.  
Problem is, being really childish Obelix keeps trying to get some potion, despite knowing that it would be trouble. Being friends with the village’s best hero (and drinker of potion) Asterix doesn’t help any, either.

It’s times like these when I’m glad to be European.

They might well have played them here in the US and I just didn’t see them.
