Whatever helps you sleep at night…
But that isn’t the discussion point? You did read the rest, right?
No, but it would give you connections in the boating and bonsai circles, if you actually had talent in either of those directions. Just as this kid has connections to the animation industry, thanks to his parents working in it.
To be fair, my parents have a combined 60 years of experience as ship captains, 30 years of boat racing, and 21 years of bonsai. That doesn’t make me good in any of those. I fact, I killed all my bonsais and get seasick easily.
So, his parents doing anything for 15 years doesn’t make it good,
And let me highlight something that /mlp/ers seem to be overlooking: “the kid originally DID pitch story ideas to Hasbro”.
The whole story is that the kid originally DID pitch story ideas to Hasbro, but KCAFO was not one of his ideas. McCarthy gave him the premise and he wrote the outline, nothing more.
McCarthy’s works inspired the idea or talking to McCarthy directly inspired him?
They would just squirt shampoo on it and email a photo of it to Lauren Faust.
im saying thats low on his end.
Also a few others begging them to follow him.
Any chance we could loan some to /mlp/?
It’s true, though.
thats just low..
For a little Devil’s advocate, his adaptations somewhat tend to be along this line from his guest spot on the Simpsons:
Bart: “You wrote my favorite Radioactive Man issues!”
Moore: “Oh, so you like that I made your favorite superhero a heroin addicted jazz critic who’s not radioactive?”
It is the funniest gorram thing in the world of comics every time Alan Moore whines about other people making adaptations of “his works”, what with him having built his career on adaptations of other people’s works.
Eh, perception.
I just see that he was proud of what he did and wanted to share the details. If you’re happy about something, you want to share it. Of course some people are going to take it the wrong way, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t feel less pride.
It really depends on whether you see him as Twilight or Trixie in this case.
wouldn’t* take it very well.
>If it was you would you not want anyone to know?
Yes,but not that way.I mean,If my name is on the credits then that’s more than enough, for curricular reasons.
Going in to a fan site and pretty much shove it on to their faces seems pretty douchey, considering he’s not only a fan,but has the advantage of being friends with the staff. It wouldn’t be surprising that parts of the fandom would take it very well.
I believe Antonio didn’t do it with malice or anything, though.
Then randomly losing his home.
Guess you’re not supposed to feel pride in your accomplishments.
I’ll remember that.
Everyone did get to know from the episode itself where his name was listed. But that wasn’t enough for Teddy, he needed to go around and brag about it to everyone.
Also i think that this needs drama or even forced drama tag.
