I decided to figure out the oxidation of white phosphorus to phosphate using perchlorate in an acidic solution, which should be similar to the equation on the board:
2 P4 + 32 H2O -> 8PO4(3~~) + 64H+ + 40e~~
5 ClO4- + 40H+ + 40e- -> 5Cl- + 20 H2O
2P4 + 5ClO4- + 12 H2O -> 8PO4(3~~) + 5Cl~~ + 24 H+
Maybe it is similar to
PO4 + H2O = H3PO4 + OH
