I should’ve used a comma to try to avoid confusion but you are technically correct. The best kind of correct.
I read it as the acknowledgment of the “safeponi raid of 2016”, not the “acknowledgement of the safeponi raid” of 2016 :P
I said the “acknowledgement” though not the actual event. Reread the comment I wrote and you will see what I said that while quite dank has some street cred.
Except it happened in 2014.

Judging by the initial upload dates (August 2012), it looks like the site was setup as a direct response to Ponibooru shutting down. And since there were thousands of images all posted on the first day of the site’s operation, they probably just did a bulk import of the former site’s “Ponibooru-Select-Safe” dump. So likely the site never attracted any actual activity at all, just the initial dump and the porn raid.
