I wasn’t going to initially, but eventually I felt had to say something. The wrinkles being wrong is more likely an artistic thing rather than a complete dismissal of the theory. The fact that half the shirt is missing should be more than enough evidence that they cut the front of the shirt as well in order to get enough fabric to tie around the back.

Are we done, or do you have some other complaints with this solution?

Yes, if you cut the front too, you can take the two pieces on each side and pull back further. That works, I agree.

However, due to how the wrinkles looks at the bottom … it doesn’t seem to be that case.

It was just meant to be a stupid little comment of the flawed logic … I didn’t expect someone to defend it. …it doesn’t devalue the comic itself.

Notice that the shirt only goes half as far down as it did before? They cut the back for the wings, then they cut the front as well, suddenly you have a bunch of fabric that previously covered her stomach that you can wrap around the back.

What? How” does that even work? If you *cut along the long side, just like how her shirt was cut … the circumference doesn’t get larger.

@Pagan
I have even questioned her choice to not even wearing a bra. I personally prefer underwear over nudity. I’m debunking illogic stuff. (Taking horses, growing wings … perfectly normal)

But if you have a cylinder, cut it in half, and stack one piece on top of the other, it’s twice as tall.
My solution leaves a lot of the back exposed, but you really do have fabric to spare for getting that extra length.

@Liggliluff
Well, remember, the shirt had to go all the way up from the bottom to the top.
If you take two parts, they only have to reach half that distance to meet, and then you use the rest to tie it.

It had enough extra ‘space’ to contain two wings, though.
Not enough to contain two wings that were trying to expand from panic, hence needing to get it cut open, but she could breathe fine before she panicked.
So it’s probably just a bit tight.
Besides, look at how it lies under her arms now; It’s much ‘roomier’ in the sleeve-area. They might get extra length from having a different ‘angle’ on some of the strips of cloth compared to where they’re usually supposed to go.

I’m not sure if you actually can tie the shirt together …
I mean, it’s big enough to fit around, but a knot would require additional length …

I’m looking too much into this …
