TwiDash basically got super popular cause it he had a few very popular early fics and more importantly the characters involved are ridiculously popular. It’s an interesting one because back when it got big Twilight and Rainbow Dash had very few interactions in the show proper so it sort of came out of nowhere.

The Final Great shipping Battle: Hasbro announces the end game couples are going to be decided by literal battles to the death, the AppleDash vs Rarijack war, being the ships with the most animosity toward the other would be the bloodiest battle to ever grace ponydom.
 
Man though really, it’s crazy how far our little ship here has come in the last couple of years. Just two years ago Rarijack was pretty much a mid tier ship heavily overshadowed by TwiDash, AppleDash and FlutterDash, not it has more art than any of them, and while it still lags quite a bit in total fic since it missed out on being super popular in 2012-2013 it’s rate of new fic is pretty much even or greater than AppleDash and FlutterDash (though behind TwiDash). We have pretty much all the momentum still too. Now we just need our writers to actually be be able to write longer stuff. Anyway we’ve become by pretty much any measure one of the toppest tier ships.

I like how they wink and eachother and shit as soon as Rainbow turns around..

Seriously sometimes I get the impression that most of the crew secretly wants to actually go and do Rarijack. No other duo gets the stuff and little moments they do.
 
One day…. one day… and on that day our conquest our long climb to being the top ship might finally be complete.
