Durp, maybe I should look up what I’m talking about before I open my mouth. I don’t know that for certain though I do know that Muffet’s efforts with the spiders will vary depending on the amount of money she gets from the player.

Though the method I mentioned, by paying 9999 gold, will give Muffet more money and then the spiders can do more on the surface world in a true pacifist run. I had 2-3k gold before the Muffet fight and gave it all to her during the fight, they ended up getting a bakery.
This is true, and the reward is you can completely bypass the fight. But there’s an easier solution to do this as well. If you save a Spider Donut or a Spider Cider from the Ruins and eat it durning the fight, she’ll spare you.

If you can get the money (and you can) then you can afford it. It does involve a lot of walking around from one place to another, but it’s possible. This is done by money farming Cloudy Glasses bought from the archaeologist and selling them to Temmie. It’s quicker if you got the cell phone upgrade with storage capacity.
For Spiders too!
