Smolder: I actually found his talk interesting. Then it became… Gallusified… towards the end
Gallus: Myeh. Was worth a shot. Changeling wings don’t make all that much sense to me. They look too fragile to provide lift at all!
Ocellus: My wings beat at a far faster rate than yours do. Griffons and Hippogriffs flap at around 2-3 flaps a second when hovering. I’d have to beat my wings at closer to 100-200 times.
Yona: Wow! So changeling moves really fast when hovering!
Sandbar: Sounds exhausting. What happens when you get tired whilst flying?
Gallus: Eh. We wing it.
And Changelings, as someone else said, even more innately magical, given their ability to transform into different creatures that shouldn’t be able to fly.
In fact, it’s not impossible that they ALL have some measure of magical assistance when it comes to flight.
Quite easily
Books are “good” weapons
How could you do that to a perfectly good book?
Changelings are mostly hollow under that exoskeleton and are even lighter than Pegasi (not to mention also highly magical—even more so than dragons, let alone a Pegasus)
I was making a fart joke but I was trying to be classy about it
%also, the square-cube law is a bitch, but magic lets pegasi ignore it, so why not dragons?%
Edited
What it’s meant to be implying is that the warmth from a dragon is so great that they can actively heat the air around them. When they spread their wings they are then able to catch these rising hot air currents.
Also magic and stuff.
Okay that is not how physics works
unless you’re implying that they have a, uh, built-in “rocket thruster”
Ocellus has talked about her Ladybird-themed Elytra before :)
@Celestia’s Servant
Really more of an Instagram move, to be fair.
If only…
If thats the book i was reading are you implying that i don’t know how to science
How dare you
Lol
Can’t beat the classics
