Heard of an artist called Forest Rain? He’s got a pretty nice voice and doesn’t do such electric stuff, he focuses on vocals and it’s pretty nice what he comes up with, (Pony related, of course).
Personally, even with my love of electronic music, the fandom has way too much fucking dubstep.
I’m not a fan of dubstep as much as most bronies and excessive fans are, but (some) dubstep does actually take artistic skill that I could vouch for that need effort.
This excludes the shitty songs with a constant generic ear rape beat, I mean ones with a real variety and clear time put into them.
I think what he means is organic music with actual old fashioned instruments, which is what I myself prefer.
But anyone who creates a decent enough song regardless of genre is still an artist. :shrug:
