When I made the origami of Maud, I planned to make a scene of her giving the recent soapstone Applejack as a present to her cousin. But while still planing that one (a project I may still realize) I got distracted by colorful stones lying around everywhere… (would it be the correct term to say that I got stoned? ) …resulting in this Applejack mosaic ending up as Maud’s gift to her cousin. Maud is presenting the mosaic to Applejack while she is also holding Boulder on her outstreched hoof.  
Applejack’s face and posture (forehooves crossed) is supposed to preety much say: “Aww, shugs sugarcube.“I’m afraid without mouthes (or a lot of space to add mouthes) such facial expressions don’t come out as clear as they should based on eyes alone.Pinkie Pie in the background woulb probably be in a continuous Pinkie bounce, excited about the joy of everypony else.

I submitted a version of this image to a little art of the month contest in a brony forum I’m attending, where I got some helpful constructive criticism. It was justly pointed out that the figures are standing apart too far from each other, so it doesn’t look like they were interacting and also the lack of background other than the grass mat was a bit dull. I’ll do my best to do better next time.
