Eyyy
“Man there is nothing better then being behind the wheel of your own car
Except maaaybe for pussy”
Luna: “I have to talk with King, every time one of his books comes out I have to pull extra overtime.”
Should have just threw her into the fires of Mordor.
To be more precise, they used a mix of Savoys, Belvedres, and a few Furies to play Christine in the movie. Many were really nothing more than unfurnished stunt cars; only 3 out of the 24 “Christines” they got were fitted with complete interiors (and survived the filming) if I remember correctly. Some were empty shells used for the self-repair scenes, and others had finished exteriors but a near-stripped interior and were used for the stunt scenes when Christine was in her evil mode. The one used in the alleyway chase scene was eventually rescued by a fan and had its interior restored.
Although, I believe the book mentions her as a four door model. *shrugs
Christine is supposed to be a 58’ Fury. In the movie, they used modified Savoys, but what you’re seeing especially in the movie for non-action shots are 58’ Belvederes. Since the Fury was a trim level of the same model, the car choice in the movie isn’t far from the book.
They didn’t. Even though in the end Christine is lured into a car compactor and turned into a brick the ending implies that it recovered, as the protagonist later learns about new victims of mysterious car accidents, suspecting that Christine is still alive. Pretty standard ambiguous ending for King’s novels.
Then how did they kill it in the end?
That wouldn’t work, Christine regenerates its damaged parts.
…Nobody ever think of using a spike strip?
