What was she supposed to do? Reward someone for endangering the elements of harmony, thus ending Equestrian life as we know it? Because it outright states in the Season 5 finale Equestria would turn to crap without the elements meeting each other. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Dusty but acting she’s infallible for something that she purposely did is whitewashing her character. And trust me, Rainbow has been punished for less. The fact remains, Dusty landed on her hooves and was able to start her own stunt team. I love all three pegasus mares, Dusty, Dashie AND Spitfire. I do like how Dusty redeemed herself offscreen though I would’ve liked to see the Redemption on screen along with The Flim Flam bros, who are also present during the final battle.

Also you can like a character and not approve of what they do.

I do wish they just demoted Dusty to wingpony and kept her in the Bolts, I’m sure Dashie would’ve forgiven her eventually.

No I mean the SERIES finale. Because LD is seen in the final battle.

I love Dusty too. But Rainbow Dash should have been leadpony from the start. And if Spitfire didn’t kick Lightning out, she wouldn’t have founded The Washouts and made her OWN awesome team. Plus the ending hints Dashie and Dusty like each other again.
