Not being a princess princess is not really a bad thing. Twilight should take that as a compliment.

You know, I do get where she’s coming from. As many impressive things as Twilight has done, it’s kind of hard to overlook that she came to Ponyville as a student, and was out there making mistakes and learning from them well before she received her wings. When the comparison is Celestia, the more than a millennia old being who once walked and talked with ponies of legend and lore and who commands the sun itself, it’s not really surprising Twilight comes out as a bit more approachable.

Agreed. The way Starlight can talk so freely with Twilight just tells me how close the two are.
 
… Also, it’s kinda hard to see Twilight as a “princess” princess after seeing her like this.
