What you posted was an opinion, not whining. There’s a huge difference between “This is how I feel “ and “BAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW”. Hopefully you didn’t think I was attacking you/other posters for having a different opinion. Im attacking those who hop on line an constantly bitch about trivial things because they think the world revolves around their “opinions”.

Absolute head-canon is one of the things driving our community apart. Ive always been ok and respectful to those who’s head-canon differs from mine or hell even the shows own canon. But I bugs the hell out of me when they take it to the extremes…. show doesn’t fit my exact expectations/ head-canon? FBRGPHHFFFFFFUUUUU!!!!!! IM DONE WITH THIS SHOW!!!!!!!! _;  
Hell back in my day when shows didn’t go our way we either dealt with it or abandoned ship. Outlaw Star is one of my top favorite animes, the ending was something I still don’t like but accept. Its the same way with bands….they change their sound and people freak out. Sometimes they go back to the old or keep the new sound. Example, I grew up in high school with Korn being one of the top bands at the time. Recently they changed their sound, If I disliked Id not listen. I wouldn’t hop on forums and bitch and moan. If someone asked if I liked it or not Id tell em how I felt instead of pushim my head-canon views of how the band “should” sound.  
TL;DR  
Lets enjoy this shit while we have it. Accept change with dignity and grace instead of foolhardy whining and yelling.

Right? Transformers fandom has been “Ruined Forever” no less than 14 times, and it’s still going strong.
 
I love how people are reacting without even suspending judgement until they watch the episodes. It might be awesome. Then they’ll feel ridiculous about losing their shit over something so trivial.
 
I think getting upset at something because it doesn’t line up perfectly with one’s own head-canon is ridiculous. Expecting just that is just really self-entitlement at its worst. Just because something is different from one’s expectations does not mean it is bad.
 
I trust the showrunners with whatever they want to do with the show. I think we’ll be in for an awesome season. :)

People have been speculating that this could happen since the pilot. Now there is the slightest chance it could happen, and it’s the worst possible thing. This fandom’s head is full of fuck. Find something to do besides whining about every damn thing. Try to enjoy the fucking show. That’s what it’s there for.

G4 MLP is gonna be like Avatar, a chosen must supplant the last embodiment of all the races combined to rule/guide their people. But what of Luna, was she someone who she wanted to be with and as part of the contract, spell, condition Tia chose someone close to her to be her companion?

Well that’s just the thing. I do still trust the writers, and that’s precisely why I expect it to be temporary if it happens.

Thank you so much. I thought i was like the last sane person with all the superloud “buhu if Twi becomes alicorn the show will be crap” whiners everywhere. _  
But given some of the positive comments most bronies trust the writers and the studio staff to pull that off if they really do intend to do that.
 
Though i still think it will be only a temporary thingie.
