Oh yeah, it’s obvious that it was a dream. What I meant was that in the first image of the sequence when the dream starts off happy (>>3050353) she’s a bit thinner than in this panel, when the dream goes bad.
That’s the most obvious clue it’s a dream. She’s at a normal horse size in the dream realm.
It’s like an allegory.
As she progresses through the process, it becomes complicated. If she gets over that complication, she gets a little better, and she doesn’t let herself be sabotaged.
Sunny doesnt acknowledge just how thin she is. she knows she lost a lot of weight but she cant see it physically.
It’s about sunny getting an eating disorder. its more of an over-exploration of sunny’s character in general.
I meant the entire series. Its meant to be the grimdark aftermath of Ali-conned?

this is a nightmare. its only an exaggerated version of sugar composed off of sunny’s insecure mind.
