“Nightmare Moon was overjoyed when she defeated Twilight Sparkle, as it meant that a Bearer of the Element of Magic was able to be possessed by the Nightmare Forces. They took over the coward in purple’s body, their first act being to destroy the unconscious Luna’s body, and decided to give themselves a new name, Nightmare Eclipse, for the Nightmare Forces have eclipsed everyone.

Having defeated and imprisoned Empress Twilight Sparkle and her once mighty reign over Equestria, King Sombra had once again struck fear and awe into the hearts of ponies everywhere. The Crystal Empire was reborn.  

 
However, this was not enough for Sombra. Upon finding Twilight’s library of spells he proceeded to create an army that would bend to his will without question. In one last move of defiance, the Insurgency and Twilight’s Order united to hold back Sombra and retake Equestria.  
 
The alliance fought valiantly and never surrendered, but in the end they were ultimately defeated. Equestria was now nothing but a memory as the land that once filled it has become a barren wasteland of crystal mines where Sombra’s Rule is the only rule.  
 
Achievement Unlocked: Long Live the King

After seeing how the world where Twilight Sparkle had become corrupt with power, Spike began to worry about his big sister.
 
He had talked with Rarity as well as the others, voicing his concerns. He knew Twilight wouldn’t be like that, but he knew he still worried, and became driven to become stronger. He would never let Twilight succumb to evil as long as he was around.
 
The icon would be Spike’s green flames or his spines, and the picture for his ending is him sitting down from afar, watching Twilight while she is reading some books in the Crystal Library.

Eh, fuck it. There’s no rule saying I can’t participate in my own.
 
Prince Blueblood had done the impossible, he’d not only taken down Twilight Sparkle with his bare hooves and magic, but he’d done it without giving into his selfish wants or cowardice. As he stood over her body, a sense of power flowed through him. Taking her crown, Blueblood looked outside of the castle windows at the terrified armies she once controlled.  
His aunties would have been so proud.
