That is more or less literally how my main OC works. :V
Being fueled by an amorphous mass of magic also means that you are technically immortal, though physically vulnerable. Like Starscream.
Liquid magic, of course, has never been seen in its natural form as it takes the form of blood, organs and bones should the skin be broken. But breaking cartoon skin is nigh impossible unless the plot calls for it because the liquid magic will take the form of extra skin/hair/what have you when a tear forms.
I’ve thought about this stuff.
