this artists’ muzzles are somewhat ambiguous, and, honestly, with how androgynous gymnastic uniforms are getting these days someone that doesn’t do gymnastics would have a rather hard time telling the two uniforms apart. also, we’re talking cartoons, and quite often they’ll give male cartoons a case of kansas flats so people don’t go calling it suggestive or explicit.

She’s got a mare’s nose, a woman’s gymnastic outfit, and rhythmic gymnastics is currently an all-female sport in the Olympics, so the obvious conclusion is that this conversation is really creepy.
I am going to say female. The area between this pony’s hind legs is pretty flat. Leading me to believe there’s a marehood hiding just behind that suit.
