Yeah, I noticed something. The cutie mark you drew is backwards compared to the one on the chalkboard.

I stopped caring about Wild Fire after the first cameo.

Anyway, if you’re thinking Midnight Strike was replaced by Thunderlane, I think you’re mistaken.  
Recoloring Wild Fire into that other pony is easy, but re-doing all the animation supposedly done with Midnight Strike with Thunderlane in her place would waste too much time (and money, since they would have to pay the animators to work more), so they would just recolor Midnight Strike into a new pony.  
So you can calm down and forget this.

Lightning cloud cutie marks are probably the most generic pegasus cutie marks in the show.

Can’t really call em OCs anymore if they’ve been in the show.

So there was a major OC purge in this episode.
 
Also apparently Midnight Strike sucks at clearing clouds.
