Optimus Prime and Shining Armor don’t really have the same personalities, but I think that they would make a good team you don’t have to have the same personalities to be a good team, The reasons why I think Optimus Prime and Shining Armor would be a good team is that Optimus is the leader of the Autobots and Shining is Captain of the royal gaurd also I read a fanfiction called Transformers Prime to save Equestria and in that fanfiction Shining looks up to Optimus because Shining sees Optimus as the leader he wants to be and Optimus thinks that Shining would be a great Autobot. To me that sounds like a good idea that’s why I think Optimus and Shining would make a good team but that’s just my opinion. I also think that Optimus Prime and Princess Celestia would be a good team like everyone else does.

If using your logic, why not Princess Cadence is Elita One?

It’s probably not TF:Prime’s Optimus, who’s more closer to a shell-shocked Vietnam Veteran with Fluttershy’s sense of kindness than Shiney’s Cool big brother attitude.

For what I know they have different personality but We didn’t see SA a lot.

I like transformers, and I have to say fuck no. Shining Armor is a cool bro character and that’s all we know of his personality, Optimus as far as I know has no siblings, and the most interacts Optimus has is with team-mates, and we never see Shining Armor talk to any of the guards under his command.  
The two never interacted onscreen with characters the other interacted with onscreen. So trying to claim they have similar personalities is just stupid and most secondhand guessing.

I thought it was widely accepted that he had no personality. He’s the most blank slate character since Tom.

Probably just a coincidence. But now I get to enjoy the image of Shining transforming into Optimus.
