I’m thinking it’s probably considered equally invasive to drag someone across the room with telekinesis as it would be to force grab them.
But the force doesn’t glow bright pretty colors, so clearly telekinesis is better.

I think the one most likely to call her on it would be Spike. I think the only reason he hasn’t in the show is because he called her on it a long time ago and has since given up on it doing any good.
@Background Pony Number 17
She’s the apprentice to the 1000 year princess of their world and now a princess herself.
They’ve never had a choice of calling her out on her shit. Only a few immediate stuff, but never about her bad personality habits.
Why do you think the Mane 5 have never had personal bonding time with Twilight? They’re friends that have been through a lot together, but the Mane 5 still have no idea how to feel about Twi as a person, and Twi never opens up and gets introspective. The very first time she opened up was with Moondancer in Season 5.
…tbh, I’ve watched a ton of shows and anime, and Twilight is one of the most uninvested main characters I’ve seen in ages.
@SaburoDaimando
I can see it now. Pinkie comes into the throne room to see Twilight shredding Pinkie’s throne in a fit of rage “WHY DON’T YOU MAKE ANY SENSE!”.
Pinkie slowly backs out and closes the door.
I’m suddenly picturing Twilight going through that scene from Blazing Saddles:
Twilight: (unintentionally grabs Trixie) Have you gone berserk? Can’t you see that mare is a jer…
(sees Trixie)
Twilight: Wrong pony. Forgive me. No offense intended.
(swaps Trixie and Starlight)
Twilight: Have you gone berserk? Can’t you see that mare is a jer…?
@The Toaster Repair Pony
Probably easier to manipulate, not to mention the ground troopers who’ve apparently been manipulated since they were young children. I’m guessing that applies to most of their forces and not just Finn.

That is disturbingly plausible.
@Scrounge
The power to glow is insignificant next to the power of the Dark Side of the Force.
That’s what lightsabers are for. Force-users feeling the need to compensate for non-glowyness.

This has become a bad habit with Twilight Sparkle. Poor Spike seems resigned to it, but I’m surprised Twilight’s friends haven’t called her out on it.
Only a matter of time before it’s a fanfic.
It just occurred to me how much that sounds like a shipping name.
she loves doing this
