I think that a better example of recoloured character would be Shoeshine, who has the same model as Bon Bon, or vice-versa.
It’s almost has if she and her book where she had her broken wing was meant to parallel Rainbow.
You seriously can’t tell that by looking at the cast, and the show’s art style? Almost every pony uses the same basic body structure, especially the female ones. (Compare the mane 6 with each other, and even the 3 CMC with each other.)
I actually do kinda agree about Daring Do though, I kinda liked it better to when she was just an “adventure fantasy story, within an adventure fantasy show.”
Still, I did enjoy the ep’ “Daring Don’t” regardless.
Eh… They were such minor characters that don’t stand out.
Don’t really see it, but OK.
I don’t think she should have been a separate character from the books either. I liked it more when she was a fictional character.
Let’s face it, nearly every pony is a “recolor,” with different colors, hair styles, and eyes.
Even the CMC have had “recolors” of themselves appear in the show. >>780486
