Zephyr Heights is incredible from every single angle. Of all the races, the pegasi definitely prospered the most without their magic. It also seems as though they have co-opted Canterlot; if Zepher Heights isn’t literally Canterlot thousands of years after Twilight’s reign.

You know, you really have to admire the work the animators put into the backgrounds here. Note that this isn’t just a marble-and-gold city, it’s a marble-and-gold city that shows watermarks, stains and tarnish from possibly centuries of age. All the while having shiny modern-style electronic billboards that look just as out of place here as they would in a real-life old European city.
