That’s more confusing and unintentionally funny, I’m afraid.

Well, like I said. Maybe they can eat and enjoy human food, but don’t need to consume it for nutrients?
Or, maybe they need both human food and emotions to survive?
Or, maybe they just need fluids to supplement what they get from emotions?
All we know for sure is:
We do see them drinking, though.
They definitely used the word “meal”, when describing the consumption of emotions.
You know that it has actually been awhile since I have watched Rainbow Rocks from beginning to end, maybe I should again.
But I was always under the impression that they eat regular food for nourishment, but emotions like anger for magic power?
No, they specifically say that it’s food to them.
Maybe they can eat food, but just don’t need to?
Or maybe they need both?
Maybe emotions make them stay young forever?
*shrugs* Never see them eat any.
And yet Sonata was excited for Taco Tuesday.
