I put my trust in Fluttershy. Protection will not be much of a problem, since it seems there’s no shortage of dangerous animals that, once befriended, can make for excellent guard dogs. Also, the chart doesn’t mention it, but I’m pretty sure she knows at least some medicine, and being able to deal with the injuries that might result from the dangers of life as a castaway seems important to me. Plus, she’ll be good company.

In this order:  
Applejack- Food is a necessity to survive and I can be quite resourceful in a pinch to make tools, shelter, etc. Also I do need to be more active so it’ll be fine if she expects me to help also.
 
Fluttershy- With me being afraid of wild animals, with her she can ease them and I can learn from her too, and having her around would just be simply awesome!!
 
Pinkie Pie- Me with having a weak morale, she can brighten up what seems bleak by being stranded on the island, would make it fun even instead of depressing.
 
In terms of mainly survival I’d have to choose Applejack, sorry Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. If I make it alive, I’ll be back for both of you. :3

Zecora. Long-term survival skills in general alongside being friends with the other tribes. All the others have narrow skills, while Zecora’s wisdom could come in handy in any situation, as well as her own unique abilities. And who says you can’t cuddle a zebra?

The Kiddy Klub. I am going to bet all on their potential and put my life line to make sure at least that they escape… that or food suppiles in case of emergency

Later on, as my physical condition as work ethic, become better,the plentiful food and such and what, will give time to socialize with two very interesting equines and also, on making our site from, livable, to comfortable, and lastly befriending the tribespeople. In fact the only negative too much is with Aj getting on me at the beginning for being unhealthy and unmotivated.

In order for what I’d pick.  

Hmm… Treekicker (Applejack). Regardless of which pony we pick there is presumably enough fresh water for two. Easier food and substantial help in violent situations makes her a multi-talented assist.
 
Zecora would be another good choice.

In all honesty? The CMC (Kiddy Klub). The fact that I get 3 for 1 makes it much more likely we’ll/I’ll survive. I can defend myself no problem and protecting them shouldn’t be much of a problem either.
 
Seeing that they are young they are easier to teach new things and adapt.
 
I guarantee it won’t be a dull moment with these 3 that’s for damned sure…stress might be a slight problem,but bashing tribesman’s heads will calm me.
 
My survival skills a at a decent enough level to understand how to find what is needed. Fresh water will not be a problem (I just hope I can find some within the first few days). Food will be a little harder but I know how to improvise fish, as well as understand what greens are save to eat as well. Hunting land animals will be the toughest granted. I’ll most likely just steal or trade it with a tribe if they are friendly to me.
 
I will be the one to take care of most things until they gain some experience but it will make the majority of the years alot easier overall.
 
 
That and they are obviously 1 of each pony race. So given time,Scoots will fly and maybe help with weather control. As well with enough time Sweetie’s magic will be helpful,and since Applebloom already lives on a farm I’m sure she already knows a few things regarding growing food and taking care of animals.
 
Both the hardest and rewarding choice of ’em all.

Fluttershy/Yellowquiet. And not just because she’s best pony either.
 
With the animals on our side, finding food and freshwater would be much easier. They would also be helpful in warning when hostile tribes are heading our way, and may even help us defend ourselves in a pinch. Her presence will give me something to fight for, and if I ever get injured, I can count on her to help nurse me back to health.
 
Close seconds would be Applejack (I don’t mind working hard, and it would give me something to do) and Twilight (Her knowledge will come in handy, her magic will help with nearly everything, we can teleport away from hostiles if need be, and we can stave off boredom with intellectual debates and philosophical discussions).

I’d go with Meany Beak; sure we not get along so well at first, but I’m a persistent fellow. In time I think we can at least grow to tolerate/depend on each other.
