Loki, the eldest of Fluttershy and Discord and the first child born from the Mane Six. Born Laverna, everyone was immensely surprised at his appearance - not because he was different, but because he wasn’t so different. Being born from a pony and a draconequus everyone expected Fluttershy to give birth to more of an - oddball. No one was as shocked as Discord himself, wondering why his firstborn had four hooves and a rather sturdy muzzle. Despite all of this, he’s immensely loved by his parents.

The biggest problem for him, though, was being born a ‘mare’. Loki felt far too different to be one of those, and being the stubborn child he was, decided to ‘tell’ (rather demand) his parents that he was a young colt and they would address him as such. However much of a shock it was to his parents, they helped him pick out a new name (One Discord was very impressed with) and made him feel welcome in his new identity.

Loki enjoyed his short-lived childhood, he loved being an only child and loved being a big brother to his baby sister Eris even more. The fun would not last, as when he was young his mother, along with the rest of the Mane Six disappeared on one of their ‘missions’ - this absolutely tore the young colt, leaving not only him but his father devastated. With a severely damaged family, Loki had to learn how to grow up quickly, feeling isolated from his ‘absent’ father and having to take care of Eris. Loki spent all his time trying to find out what happened to his mother, without coming to any solid conclusions.

He has only a few friends, that being his ‘total bestie’ (not what he calls her) Jubilee Guillon (daughter of Rarity and Tempest Shadow) and Choux Beignet (daughter of Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich). He prefers to spend most of his time alone, thinking he has a better chance of finding his mother without the help of anyone else.

Loki doesn’t have a cutie mark, and thinks he cant get one (he can, he just hasn’t found his special talent yet - he doesn’t have time while he has a lost mother to look for!)

am i at all shamed that im totally basing this loki off of avengers loki? no. not at all. but this is My baby and i love him 
 
dont get me wrong i love??? discord foals??? i love how some are consistent in colouring but others are just a bish bash of random parts but! i wanted to try to design a foal that was. mostly pony ish? or. considering what discord looks like a foal that was pretty normal. his younger sister eris is Definitely not this simple
