“I would never use [the sun] for destruction.”
Well…
It’s kind of already destructive; It’s why Eternal Day is an even worse idea than Eternal Night.
We need night-time to let everyone and everything heal from the damage the sun’s rays do.
I mean, yeah, it’s destroying things very slowly, but still, you’d see changes fairly quickly (a few weeks, perhaps) if we tried to have the sun up 24/7.
To put it in my ‘duality’ terms (because I like dualities):
Day is the time of plenty and pain; There is solar energy, and with it an entire eco-system, but the sun is not merciful and any who do not protect themselves will be hurt.
Night is the time of hunger and rest; There is no energy but what the moon steals from the sun, but the darkness hides anyone who does not wish to be seen, and the moon is far gentler than the sun.
In many ways, the Day favors the Strong, while the Night favors both the Peaceful and the Clever (though in different ways).
They both punish those who would be a creature of one and not respect the other; Creatures who know only Night do not have the tough skin to survive outside of their caves and deep oceans, while creatures who know only Day are blind and easy prey if they do not hide in the night (and will likely be less used to hunger)
In many ways, it means the ponies were right when they played in the day and slept in the night.
But they should still have shown the Night its respect.
Plus, there’s like a dozen good fanfics that get into what the Night Court did - quite a few of them contradict each other, but there’s still some common themes of parties and deals made discretely.

Er, no? unless these interviews have a continuity with Celestia’s Servants personal headcanon now, that is. I admit I have a long time since I checked these interviews.
No, though there are also lots of other ponies who would also get a lot of hugs but they don’t get nearly as much.
Any reason she shouldn’t?
Dunno yet. Maybe Pinks, maybe not.
Any chance you know who the next interview will be with?
TIME TO SAVE UP!
Huh… I found it was logical, but I’m used to being the only one understanding my logic^^
Also: panel 7 and 13 are way cute.

Probably something like this:
…I think she’d do it, though. If it were the only way to save the entire planet, she’d do it, and she’d never forgive herself for it.
@McClaw
Yes, I’d kill to see the look on Twilight’s face.

The edible book thing is cute.
