Description
Well, that pretty much is the last word on Derpy’s canon name.

“I’d like to be a muffin!”
Why?
Better than erase her from existance (in a meta level, of course). For us, she’s Derps, still.
I was pointing out how the name, even from Hasbro made toys, isn’t all the same anyway.
The fact that this is made by USAopoly and not Hasbro means it doesn’t have more impact on her canon name then the minifigure set with her that just as an image of a muffin in place of here name.
This.
Though I’m surprised they haven’t called her “Dazzle Muffins” on a toy yet.
@Prof.NightJack
I believe this game is from USAopoly, not Hasbro. As far as I know, the only official Hasbro Derpy products have been the 2012 Comicon fashion-style exclusive, the 2014 Favorites brushable collection, and the Soaring Pegasus blindbag set.
You remember derpygate, right?
So did the Ents.
*toys now say
This is so true, I mean look at the Transformers toys, when they make a new version of some of the old ones they have changed the names on them for ether losing the trademark to the name after not using it for so long(Trailbreaker is a canon name but the toys not say Trailcutter) or from a change in what can be trademarked(Jazz now has to be Autobot Jazz).
I liked white better.
My point is that the names on merchandise are not always accurate. Thus, making claims of “canon!” based on them is kinda iffy.
Trixie of Many Colors is not impressed.
Keep in mind, 90% of the characters we love are all BG characters and get ZERO lines, and as such get no credits.
Naming is set by Hasbro to pass to third-party merchs.
Why did they pick 75% fan fave characters, I wonder.
Or “Twist-a-loo” on the toys VS just “Twist” in the show.
Merch isn’t a reliable source for making statements about canon, especially names.
And by that I mean it uses the image for her name, not the word.
Not really, all the official merchandise not produced by Hasbro has the same names for the other two but still say Derpy for her and the only other one produce by Hasbro I can thing of calls her-
ex: “Mrs. Dazzle Cake” on the toys VS “Mrs. Cup Cake” in the show
