Dude, the Party of One was the basis for Cupcakes.
When you think about it, it would’ve been easy to write a simple gore fic, people were just so taken back that that it was MLP.
Now, something like Fallout Equestria was so well written that some people FORGOT it’s about MLP.
Again, that hadn’t aired yet.
Well she “exists” a lot more in IDW. Especially “The Return of Queen Chysalis” and most recently “Ponies of the dark water”
She’s actually one of the antagonists is the “Reflections” arc alongside the alternate mane 6.
Even that Pinkie wasn’t violent.
I do resent Cupcakes a bit for pushing the implication that a mentally broken Pinkie Pie would just be a generic serial killer. We already saw what a mentally broken Pinkie Pie was like Party of One, an angry, lonely pony who had parties with inanimate objects and kept hearing their voices

If you ask me, I’d just tone it down as much as possible.
To me Pinkamena is canon, but just grumpy, bully version that comes out during extreme stress.
Remember discorded Pinkie? That’s Pinkamena to me.
SGT Sprinkles himself regretted posting it, whats the point of still being mad about it these days? People have mostly abandoned edge lord garbage fim fics anyway.
Keep being mad if you wish, but it won’t actually affect Sprinkles or edgy FIm fans.

Nope! As Blissey1 said, “never forgive, never forget”. EqD making that garbage popular ruined part of the fandom, and seriously negatively affected my enjoyment of it by me and a whole lot of people, many of which quit because of it.
So no. I’ll not ever forget or forgive that the most popular news site for the fandom in its early days saw it fit to highlight and promote a gore fetish edgy grimderp fic.

Wildly off-topic to discuss a Gore-story in this thread and the policies of a fandom blog, but I do agree that they should never have posted it. But, realizing that it wasn’t in anyone’s best interest, they removed it a long time ago, and have don their best to keep to their policies ever since. As a real human here, not just some Anon on the Internet, I give you this advice: If you never learn to forgive, you’ll never be happy.

Agreed. It shouldn’t even be ranked Suggestive. The artist does not say anything about it being sexual or even romantic on his page, and the image was on Equestria Daily, and they explicitely forbid anything sexual. She’s just playing with him… mind out of the gutter, folks.
