Like waiting for the next season isn’t torture enough as it.
Man. I almost hope that is the case. Star Trek: The Next Generation would leave hiatus-long cliffhangers every season. The fandom would lose its goddamn mind.

Mane six.. Six keys.. Rainbows have seven colors… What if we unlock the mystery box before the season is over only to find out that the box is it self the seventh key and there is Something Else to unlock by the season finale… Only that we are left with a cliff hanger for the season 5 opening?
Makes sense considering Rarity earned the thread through her generosity, and Rainbow Dash earned the badge through her loyalty.

The synopsis for the next Pinkie Pie episode, “Pinkie Pride”, sounds rather “Element of Laughter” oriented, and my prediction is it ending in the discovery of her “key”.
