This is the only shred of the standard bashing rhetoric which shows any sign of existing here, and yet people are still hammering out downvotes. They don’t really respond to what’s happening at all, and their “criticism” is pure superficiality. There are hundreds of thousands of pictures which contain all the problems which this picture actually contains (almost none) and they never get any of the vitriol being shown here.
 
The real reason people bash this artist is to have something to bash. Virtually all other given reasons are the effect, not the cause.

It was chaotic. Period. I choose to go no further.

^She was never well liked in Ponibooru. People questioned her fanfics and ROTHY despised her because of her refusal to respond to criticism.

Um, if your argument was true, then how did CL get hated in the first place? Most people didn’t know who she was before the first CL picture was posted here in Derpibooru.

I gave my bullet points on my dislike of CL’s work. Just still compounds the fact. But now, she seems to use “strawman arguments” with the ponies for her own agenda.
 
Outside of improving of the ponies and other cartoon characters, there is nothing to separate her from Any other vector artist as from as style. Only thing that can be noted as a “Cartuneslover’s original” is the poorly conceptual use of crossovers, which fails at humor and sense. Not to mention the lazy backgrounds, out of character moments which happens way too much, Mary Sue OCs (over 5 of them), and overly long story descriptions (a picture is worth a thousand words, no need to explain the whole effing thing and beyond!).
 
Her stuff does get a viewers attention but not really in a good way (like a train wreck) but sometimes it’s starting to feel like a shitstorm.
 
But the only positive thing I could say about this, it’s that her stuff is a glaring example of how NOT to make your crossover fanart. Although somehow, she has followers that promote and encourage this style of storytelling and lazy art.

Poor writing, no explanation why the characters were here at the first place, inconcievably stupid and inane pairings, inreasonably long and pretentious description, no character development, egregiously off-personality, Teeth-clenchingly annoying Mary Sue OCs, and all around sheer ignorance and no common sense. Also, it’s “her”.

It would be to no extent. No one is even trying to use an actual reason beyond kneejerk hatred, except for one passing “ill-conceived crossovers”… which only seems to ever come up for cl’s pics, and never for the thousands of other pics drawn by anyone but him. It’s clearly just a pretense.

Sigh. And people start hammering out their grudges again. If this exact picture were drawn by anyone else, it wouldn’t get one iota of hate; this proves that the “flaws” being attacked are just excuses to bash something.
