You clearly underestimate ghostricks. The only reason yugi wins is because everyone has equally shitty cards (by todays standards) and plot convenience because he’s the main character and if he doesn’t win the show sucks. I have decked out a great many of opponents using ghostrick skeleton, won by win condition using ghostrick angel of mischief and even completely locked down my opponent using the ghostrick nekomuseme and ghostrick night combo. sure it’s not in the meta right now and can be beaten by many top tier decks that are around today but trust me, I could take yugi unless he uses the “heart of the cards” aka plot convenience aka cheating. With ghostricks you don’t just play along with what you got, you mold the match to your will, craft the game to the way you want it to be!

Dude, Yugi played against Duke, the guy who created the game they were playing, and yet Yugi - who’s never even heard of the game before that match - managed to beat him. Whatever game you got, Yugi’s gonna beat you in it.

Guess nightmare moon should have had a hand destruction. She seems like the kind of pony who would like destruction. Maybe she would like the dark world archetype, seems to be a lot of self destruction there. “I destroy my own cards to make my cards better and stronger!!!!” dafuq kinda logic that is I do not know.

Partially. This is actually based off of 2 dubs: The Uncut Dub by 4Kids and Funimation in 2006, and an old fandub from 2009 called ProjectYGO.
