This actually adds a whole new level to her character. Is she really happy, or does she put up a front? Cheerilee’s Garden makes a lot more sense now, doesn’t it?

My Mom still doesn’t even know how to use a VHS Player to this day. My Dad makes fun of her for always forcing her kids (us) to make them work the VHS or DVD players, and such for her, ’cause she never remembers how, or refuses to learn. She also makes Dad work the computer for her.

I used to work as an assistant in a kindergarden. This is a pretty accurate description of how I dealt with shitty days.

In “Hearts & Hooves Day,” she did kinda “fake a smile,” when the CMC pestered her about not having a “special somepony.” When dealing with crazy kids every day, she can’t be “Cheery-lee” all the time.  
Doesn’t make her a bad person. Plus, Twilight was being really weird.

There really needs to be a tag for Cheerilee showing her more cynical, bitter side that she has to wallpaper over for her teaching job.

When I first watched it I thought it was Berry Punch, but the behavior and voice was Cheerilee’s. What I guess happened was they swapped her hair and coat colors for her human model since it would have looked like this and probably would have scared some people:
 

 
It’s less noticeable, but it was also done for Sunset Shimmer, they made her skin color brighter than her pony’s coat color and the yellow accents in her hair were changed to a bolder shade:

you..might have something here,  
cheerilee and berry punch do look very similar and cheerilee’s mane is normally a lighter colour…however! the eye colour matches cheerilee!
